Located on the street with good taste, this food stall has its unique style of foodies in Semarang. The price is moderate, but the taste is good. However, it's ready at about 7pm and the wait for the food to be served is quite long. Be patient, then!

A fairly nice place to eat some good quality pork in Solo, Markas Babi is a modern warung that serves roast pork and red sausage with their mixed rice.

The menu is quite straightforward and simple, you will usually start with the mixed rice and then add another menu from the selections.

I highly recommend trying their red sausage, salted pork rind, pork satay, and the roast pork. If you prefer some soup then add the pork ribs with picked mustard green.

They have the jumbo ice tea which they served inside a big glass jar so you don’t need to go for a second drink.

For a warung they give off a lighter and modern mood plus they have a vibrant colored furniture to cozy up your taste palate. Due to this, the price might be a little bit higher than other pork warung around Solo, but it’s justified.

UPDATED: Their satay quality has declined, and their prices goes up as of 08/2018.
