Mie Godhok is prepared fast enough. The taste is ok, not the best. The ambiance is pure javanese.

rasa enak harga merakyat, a must when you are visiting Solo/Surakarta. but really prepared to wait for the food, because it is a bit slow since it use traditional cooking technique.

The ambience and setting were great. But the taste of the 'bakmi djowo' (Javanese noodle sooup, supposed to be their favourite) was so lane. I coudn't finish my order. But I may still come when nearby to have 'wedang jahe' (ginger tea) and toufu.

Try the fried behoon. Ask for an extra spicy. Very nice

bakmie djowo is a noodle originated from Java Island. many type of bakmie, nuhun or you can order javanese fried rice.
located in little street with large parking lot, the central javanese interior style give warm and calm mood when we enter here.
the bakmie itself was really good and lime water is served with Java rock sugar, so it's really relaxing

I am from Solo, never tried this at first. And then recommend this place to my family from out town. Damn! A bit ashamed. Its taste was so under expectation. Tasted weird. Not that pricey. The location and the place are their perks. Other than that, I won't recommend this place.
