Yoshinoya Japan is always clean, fast and efficient service, friendly and tasty.
Yoshinoya in Surabaya is.....
Walked in to tables piled with trays and not wiped or clean. High chairs and prams blocking walkways.
Counter service was good, efficient and friendly.
Food was below average for true Yoshinoya standards! Tried the Yakiniku beef and it was slightly sweet, and heavy handed on the sauce. Not much onion. The rice was crunchy with partially cooked pieces.
Prawn cutlet was overly battered and lacked flavor. Crispy chicken was also overly battered but at least the chicken wasn't dry.
Took a tiny taste of the chocolate pudding and almost threw up. DON'T EAT IT!!! It was disgusting and way below Yoshinoya standards.
Drinks were syrupy and over sweet.
All in all a bitter disappointment after Yoshinoya in Japan.

Both original (salty) and yakiniku (sweet) are the Best beef bowl in town.i love it.karaage and chicken crispy with mayonaise too.unlimited refill cold ocha comes with special packages that suited my pocket.maybe more staff for cleaning the table because when its crowded sometimes things get dirty and decreasing customer appetite. Easy to park from the street.i found no tomato sauce.only chilly sauce there.the rice is good.the ambience too.

The serve was very slow, and every time I get here always have some packet not ready, have no rice etc
This is fast food but not fast!!

This place needs better quality of service tablets don't always get cleaned straight away unless you say something to a staff member.
As for the food not the best it's ok the chicken pieces are over fried and the prawn cutlet is a little bit on the mushy side and the sauce is just flavorless and i recommend you stay away from the chocolate pudding it's vile

One of my fave branches of Yoshinoya in Surabaya! You don't need to queue like you used to do in other branch. The service was good, food taste amazing as always! Nothing to complain about~
