An old colonial era building that has been converted to a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant is an intriguing mix of Japanese and Italian dishes, with steaks also available. A side-room contains a whiskey and cigar bar.

I visit again this place and enjoying their dinner set menu, started from the bread (no photo), salad, mushroom soup, steak cooked medium, and dessert of their cheese cake.

It is well and nice prepared by the chef. The salad is good, well prepared and seasoning, so good. The mushroom soup is not that good, perhaps we are late because of the the flood and traffic jam for 2 hours. And the soup has been prepared for hours before, so no comment
The steak I asked medium, it is closed to medium I want, taste good, perfectly seasoning and cooked. The dessert, they closed the dinner with perfect and amazing cheese cake. Wow ???? love it.

The place is good, we have private room to celebrate our friend's birthday.
The hospitality is good as always.

This is a semi-fine dining restaurant. It has an old feeling since the building are also old. But if you want to have a dinner date with wine or alcoholic drink this is a good choice. It also good for business meeting since they do have a private room you can use and it feels so comfortable i forgot it was a restaurant. The service is good, the waiters are very friendly and accomodating. Although for the foods it was only okay for me, i had long lunch there, and they only have Japanese for Lunch menu, and other western menu are only for dinner. The taste is okay for me, i was expecting more with such a price range. The cheapest food was the salad and it cost 58 thousand rupiah, which is a bit steep.

A posh restaurant in Surabaya. I can't exactly say it's fine dining, but the servers treated the patrons like it's fine dining. The building itself was a French consulate, thus the name of the restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant with plenty of instagrammable areas.
I had the steak, though it didn't turn out the way I like it...not enough flavor. My friend loves her salmon salad, though. Presentation of food is excellent, as was the service.
