The room was really spacious and the AC worked well. The WiFi was very superb!

Just hope that they can provide a refill drinking water too on the 2nd floor

Honestly for its price, this place is awesome. The people are welcoming. Room is neat. Air conditioner functions well. I love the bed! (im a bed person). Ive looked for low budget place to stay in surabaya and nothing beat this place. I'll Definitely comeback :))

Goodness
1. The price is cheap enough
2. The room is good (with the price)
3. The room and bath room are really clean (hot water is also provided)
4. The stuff to eat is available
5. There is hot mineral water so u can make tea or coffe to drink (for tea and the others u have to bring by yourself)

Weakness
1. It's hard to find coz in maps and the fact it's different. U have to ask someone around here that know more about this place
2. It's not privacy coz when u are talking, our sound can be heard by someone next to your room
3. the tooth brust and paste are not provided when u dont ask to the reseptionist
4. WiFi is not provided in all area (just some rooms)

rather creepy place. not recommended for family. correct location is rather to the south from current geolocation data. entrance from main road into the commercial complex (you'll see happy puppy karaoke) go straight in side. homestay is on the farthest corner.
No hot water but bathroom is OK.

Now I am stay here.
It is clean and valuable with price. But service is the worst i ever experience in my 8years travelling.
When I arrive here. I try to be gentle with reception and he was good at that time. And I asked my friend will come to visit me. And he say it is ok.
But when my friend come to just visit me. He changed totally. Very rood and not respect customer.
He keep knocking door every 5mns. And very strongly. Almost feel like he wanna brakes door. And talk to us. We cannot stay. We already know that. We just talking. And he cannot accept it. He is like religious police.
At the beginning I try to say gently and make him understand we r not stay together just visit.
But after my friend gone. I said don't get angry with customer. I just come here for stay not fight with u.
And he said. "Oh do u want fight?"
What is that kind of hospitality????????
And he point me by finger and keep say "do u wanna fight??"
Omg. That's I've never experince in my whole travelling in the world 8years.
And he called boss and Said something to boss. So I want talk with boss about this problem. But he just hang out phone!
Than he just say sorry. But not from mind.
I've met so many people and at least can figure out who is acting or from mind.
That's one of the worst experience in my life. next racism in praha orange guest house.

Wrong address, it should be jalan mayor jendral sungkono, (SEPERATED BY COMMA), Darmo Park 2. Blok 6 no. 18. This area of homestay is not recommended if you are traveling with children. Around the homestay are beauty salon, massages. No public transport going to this area, only by taxi.

the prize is okay for backpackers, but still, the room isnt okay. i can hear someone next to my room was snoring all night, and it's disturbing.
