Very recommended to visit with students. I went there with my 9 college mates. The navy staff might ask you the reason to visit there if u're in group. They'll guide u to look around the place, explain, and show the Planetarium as well. It doesn't cost that much.

The exibits are Indonesian Navy's equipments from the early of it's existence. There is a planetarium too that could be visited as a group upon registration.
Good place for elementary students to sjow the struggle of the country from the naval aspect.

Located inside markas TNI, you have to own a motorcycle or a car because there is no public transportation here.
I went to this museum with online transportation. seeing the surroundings, I asked the driver to wait for me and luckily he agreed to wait. At the time, the museum was closed due to public holiday but they kept the gate open so I could go inside and read some historical fleets owmed by TNI, includes took some pictures.

The only place in Surabaya where we can see stars through telescopes. Overall, it's great unless for the location inside the Indonesian Navy Training Center Surabaya which quite difficult to reach

Beautiful and neat... here u can see former leader of indonesia navy and many things navy use at war
