Kedai Si Mbok: most Authentic Indonesian Cuisine restaurant for Expats in Malls.

Kedai si mbok is my go-to place whenever i crave nasi goreng or even when i don’t know what to eat. Because they offer a great selection of Indonesian Cuisine!
Expats might not know this chain-restaurant because it’s usually located inside of malls, but i totally recommend this place if you want or curious about authentic Indonesian cuisine.
They offer many kinds of local soup, lontong mie, noodles, etc. and i can assure you, it taste great.
Price around 20-40k, pretty quick food serving, service is mediocre, but not a problem since it’s located in malls’ foodcourt.

This stall is located at food court of City Of Tomorrow, Surabaya.
I have try some of this branch, at Lippo Plaza Batu, Lippo Plaza Sidoarjo and now at City of Tomorrow.
They have consistant taste, tasty food of West Java Food.
So many choice of menu.

This food stall location is in the mall food court. Lots of food we can choose but today i choose kedai si mbok
My best two menus from kedai si mbok:
- nasi pecel empal
- nasi empal

Actually i like their empal ( sherdered beef ) and their sambal.. its in the right spiciness
In this outlet they having partnership with ndower so you can order pak ndower menu in the same booth

Some may say its expensive but i think they need to increase price for their rent right?
