served good food, with good service, its quite underrated tho, with its competitor who also open in same area, but jukuta have their own style for grilling fish and their sambal is exceptional ????????

This restaurant is always a favourite. The fishes and seafood are quite fresh. The style of their cooking is Makassar / Ujung Pandang / South Sulawesi style . The special dish that worth a try is the papakulu asap (smoked fish) It need a long time to cook this dish, so you'd better call the restaurant first , make reservation and order this fish so it will be ready by the time you arrive at this restaurant.
The sambals is taste very good. They are generous with the sambals. There are 3 kinds of sambal if I'm not mistaken. But not too spicy if you are a high level of sambal eater .

Old time favorite seafood. If you are a real seafood lovers, craving for authentic makassar taste, this is the place. Don't expect a very tasty food (like Layar) because they don't use much ingredients. Everything cooked to perfection with a traditional grill method. Must try : Sukang Rica and Smoke Papakulu. Expect a slow service due to lack of manpower. Always love this humble tiny restaurant.

Terrible service. Waiter told us 20 min for smoked fish. Ended up 1 hour. No price on menu. Had to ask each dish prices. Expensive! Don't come here

I had lunch with families and relatives just now. Quick services and good food. I enjoyed eating the food there. Please visit the place to dine for lunch or dinner.

Freshest fish you can find in Surabaya. The sauce needs a lot of improvement though.
