Recommended place to have a budget food.
Always packed with people (that mean the food they sold are delicious).
Spent 20k for a bowl of rice and meat Soto and a glass of Ice Tea.
That was a big portion (for me)

Perfect place for getting meal after traveling and transit to gubeng station or waiting of your train arrives. everything are cheap, suitable for your wallet if you doesn't have enough money. Appropriate for breakfast, lunch, dinner (anytime)
Don't hope to get a restaurant taste, everything taste like home-cooked or rustic food, and that's the point!

Locate between Old Gubeng Station and Sahid Hotel Surabaya. The place is crowded. I like fried rice with egg (Nasi goreng telur mata sapi), Spicy Catfish (Penyetan Lele) and ice milk for drink. Noodles and Hot coffe also available. Good Tasty, Fairy price.

I tried Ayam Penyet and Es Teh, and I'd say its worth your money. 24k rupiahs for strategic place in Gubeng is cheap. What about the taste? Is it delicious? Well, it might vary from person to person, but for me, an east Javanese, it just matches my taste. Will repeat again if possible.

**If you are from the train and about to visit this Warung, go to Gubeng Lama (not Baru). Else, you have to turnaround for like 1.7 KMs like what I did. Enjoy the meal :)

Tender meat of Rawon. Fresh taste of Soto broth. And quite cheap price. What a great combination
