I've had quite a number of meals in my 5 odd weeks in Surabaya by now and this has the best Nasi Campur (rice + selection of condiments) I've ever had so far.

Authentic Kalimantan dishes, Banjarnese chicken soup (soto Banjar), Kalimantan yellow rice (nasi kuning Kalimantan), Banjarnese chicken grill (sate Banjar) , etc

Special treatment for every customer dine in, before seating, they'll disinfectant the table and the chair. This is very good effort and treatment during the pandemic.

Had Nasi campur kare, I would say it was a decent meal. Portion was quite enough, and price was fair. Perhaps Soto banjar and Satay are their signature, as my wife always buys them every once in a while. Place is clean and quite cozy, with enough seating. Staff is nice and welcoming, quick serving as well.

Nice little restaurant. Serves indonesian food. Opens early so that's a plus.
Clean and tidy place, friendly staff. Foods are tasty with pretty wide menu selection. Price are relatively inexpensive. Parking are a bit hard to come by though.
Recommended menu is Soto Banjar since that's what I usually get 90% of the time.

The fried chicken is mostly only skins very crispy. Pretty good tbh

+ Reasonable price
+ Well-lit place
+ Tasty food.

- limited parking area. No worries tho. Parking officer will help you out.
- satay needs some time to cook

Overall, their soto Banjar is a must try. They also have several dish you can select for nasi campur. Will definitely come back to try their nasi campur and its chicken skin satay.
