Very average experience.

What was great: the view, the building, the music and acoustics of the place, the champagne.

What we didn’t like: we took the most expensive stakes. Though we were the only guests in the room, it took staff 50 minutes to prepare! And when they arrived (after we reminded twice!) they were overcooked and not that hot as it should be.

It also feels that the place is not that clean: furniture and carpets are quite worn-out and dirty.

Overall that’s not what you expect paying 2.790.000IDR for 2 people.

Extremely satisfying lunch i did there. As a noodle lover I admire blackpepper fried udon. Trevally sashimi was so succulent and melting in the throat. Kambing guling and perkedel was better than any wedding reception feast. Highlight of the lunch is salmon Wellington. Definitely the star of this lunch, and silly me forgot to take the picture of it. Service was so good and they did take care my toddler kiddo very well.

Below average Sunday Brunch experience. My wife and I have been exploring Sunday Brunch around Jakarta. Since it’s Ritz, we expected certain standards and quality for the price, but we were disappointed. The Jakarta restaurant review stated that it’s one of the top 2 Sunday Brunch spots in Jakarta. That review is so outdated!

The selection of food and the choices of beverage were mediocre at best. First of all, I can’t believe they were serving preserved juices likely from the supermarket. Obviously they weren’t fresh juices. The selection of seafood were limited. Sushi and sashimi weren’t fresh. And the cheese selection, which they only had 4-5 types of cheese and 3 were from Lombok and Bali. Sigh… Some dishes seemed like a repeat from the morning breakfast buffet. Overall, it needs a serious improvements or new kitchen management.

If any consolation, the view and the atmosphere was great. The deserts were delicious, especially the cheese cake.

One of my favorite 5-star hotel’s buffet restaurants in the city. The view and ambiance are amazing, the food is so diverse and actually tasted really good. I think the daily buffet costs about Rp 300-400k per person.

Their twists of Indonesian cuisine are amongst my favorite menus, they’re refreshingly delicious especially the Rendang Arancini. I believe currently they are serving Home Service (delivery) for several of the favorite dishes.

One of the best buffet restaurant in town. Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect!
