It's not an old hotel but feels that way. Maintenance can truly be improved here. Kitchen management HAS to be better, too. My lunch order (vegetable au gratin) came after one hour, and the quickest to appear was the chicken sandwich my colleague ordered, but even that took almost forty minutes to come! Some of us, myself included, had to leave before the orders arrived as we had to go back to our meeting.
The next day, apparently learning from the previous experience, the restaurant staff set up our orders -- which we sent to the kitchen in the morning before our meeting started -- one hour BEFORE our lunch time at 12, so by the time we arrived downstairs at the restaurant we got our lunch orders ready to eat but COLD. A friend ordered tom yum soup -- imagine having to eat that. The rest of us had to try to enjoy our cold steak and grilled fish -- we didn't ask them to reheat the food as we were worried it might take them too long!
