I know this place since 1998 for curing my HNP and the result is incredible. So that I always go to this place whenever I got problem with my lower back pain and my cervic. I am now quite healthly abecause they have skilled therapist.

Went to this clinic last Saturday on 17th August 2019. Queued for several minutes after registration, which is great. They gave me three different therapies, first was the heat treatment similar to infra-red light treatment for fifteen minutes, second was ultrasound therapy approximately thirty seconds to one minute, the third therapy felt like vibrational therapy, whatever they called them because it doesn't matter, for fifteen minutes.

Gel was applied prior ultrasound therapy, it was fine in the beginning and suddenly it became unbearably painful. They asked me to bear the pain. I asked why and answered because the injury on your knee has been quite some time. Different patient different treatment.

As far as I am aware, ultrasound therapy need not be painful. Not much explanation was given regarding what, why and how. Exercise for recovering is needed but it seemed they were reluctant to give proper instruction and/or guidance. They said exercise is not needed but later they said it's needed. What type of advice were you actually offering?

What makes extreme painful feeling is necessary during utlrasound treatment? And how do you discriminate the necessary treatment? Unless there is a reason for that and is part of a proper physiotherapy treatment, I will stay away from such clinic. Hope they are able to provide some answers.

UPDATE:
They sent a number of pages of scientific explanation via e-mail in response to the question asked, however they did not answer the original question. The intensity of ultrasound wave used was 0.4w/cm and the maximum intensity is 1w/cm according to their standard. Therefore, the question remains unanswered and unsatisfactory, at best.
