Best place to stay in Jakarta. Affordable price, great location, very big place.
The only problem is the Parking space, located in another building, you need to walk fee meters from parking space to the lobby.
The rest just great.

It's almost 16:00 and our room is not cleaned yet. Feeling like a homeless, just waiting around for our paid room to be ready. And the parking condition is very inconvenient, with miniscule lobby drop off area. If you love your time and value your experience, this is not the hotel for you.

Very friendly staff, service is good, due to covid 19 pandemic the facilities are closed. This place is actually very nice. It has a big park on the 5th floor, the pool and gym is currently closed. There is a change in management it's no longer Aston, it's now called Horison

Not bad. But need more maintenance for several rooms. Service was good, breakfast complete. We appreciate much for very good taste black coffee during breakfast. The blavck coffee made by coffee machine, not like the other hotels in common. Good service at all! Keep it up! We recommend it!

This is not a hotel, this is an old guest apartment. When I came, I couldn't open the door because the door was old, so I went back to the lobby carrying luggage to ask for help to open the room, they taught me to pull and push to open the door. They didn't provide soap bath and bed linen is dirty,

I could not sleep well because the air cond was hot and old, even after they fill the gas. Dirty bathtub and hot water only work for a while. The bed is itchy. I think
because this room has not been used for a long time or maybe they use for other things. Daily breakfast menu is always same.

They have large facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball court. It's not worth the price. I had a bad experience while living there and crossed out the name Aston from my list.

Pros : Location is good, situated in central Jakarta.
Staff are friendly and courteous
Near to several shopping centres.

Cons : building is dated

Our room in particular had a door that lead to the laundry area in the back, that CANNOT be closed.

The safe cabinet in our room was non functional, when asked if we could get another one, they brought us a light portable safe box THAT CAN BE CARRIED AROUND.
(What good is a safe if you can just lift it up and carry it away??)

Room service forgot (I sure hope it wasn't intentional) to lock our room door in one occasion.

Bathroom has no air ventilation, you can have a hot bath but instead it feels like being in a sauna.
And when you poop, you get to inhale the same room air.

Summary : the location will be what you are paying for mostly, and maybe service, but facility is a 2 star at best.

Choose wisely.

very nice people, very accommodating. great breakfast. reason for -2 stars, i have found so many ants in my room! they’re really really tiny so i guess if you’re out all day and can just keep it out of your mind while asleep it doesn’t matter.... but yeah. lots of ants.
