Such a nice views of the magnificent Mt.Merapi from here.
Located at a good elevation, the place is best for sun rise and sun set watchers..
Loved the view of the mountain from here too..

If you are visiting Merapi Volcano, this is one of those typical touristy thing to do. Each jeep holds 4 people and depending on the package, you can have the typical tour or go through the river which can be quite thrilling.

Make friends with the driver as he might like you enough to give you another round around the pools. The river run is not that long and awesome actually and can be slightly dangerous. But if you are thrill-seeking individual, try this.

The paths here are quite narrow so traffic is a thing during busy seasons. Additionally, sunblock is a friend. Also, have a waterproof bag ready.

Sometimes, you might get a busted lip or two and a couple of scrapes when you are traversing a rough path. I haven't seen anyone gettong their limbs torn off so that is a good thing.

Souvenirs can be found in some key stopovers and do try the snake fruit and some local ice cream if you find one!
