One of my favorite ayam geprek restaurants in Yogyakarta. It is usually crowded during lunch time. I like how the foods are served. You can choose varieties of side dishes including fried eggs, tempeh, eggplants, and many kinds of veggie soups as well. My favorite is their ayam geprek with egg. Worth visiting.

I don't know why so many people love this place. The chicken is so tasteless and dry, not crispy but more like hard. the tongseng broth is too sweet. not a good food to eat

GEPREK BU RUM YOGYA
Famous for introducing Ayam Geprek (crushed chicken with sambal) in Indonesia and claiming to be the first street food stall to sell Ayam Geprek. With a price only 15k we already get a yummy Ayam Geprek with rice and veggies. We can choose how much chili we want to put in our sambal, because the staff will make the sambal after we pick the fried chicken. They have a system like Warteg, you pick the dish that you want by yourself, the rice, the veggies, which part of chicken that you want, cheap and tasty. Definitely will come back.

A must go place for original taste in Jogjakarta. The place is just as promised, selling food right on the street, common place for lunch. Good price good taste.

Ayam Geprek Bu Rum is so legend in Yogyakarta, not only the price is cheap. But, the taste is good tho. You can request level of spicy you want. And also, the chickens are so big, so pick your big one.

The pioneer of ayam geprek based in information if yku googling, so we list this culinary when come to jogyakarta.
They serve buffet so you take the food bu yourself and after choosed the food come to staff who make the sambal and they will aksing for the spicy that you want, how much the chili you want to use.
Cash payment methode and hard to park a car, fine for motorcycle.

The most valuable geprek in town! i've been become a loyal customer since 2011, and now 2019, ayam geprek bu rum still on my top of the top food list, you have to try while you visit jogja!
