One of the best ecotourism village in Yogyakarta. I have visited this place several times as a tourist and a researcher, and I had a very good impression as both.

This place is the real definition of true Javanese hospitality. They have both the nature and cultural attractions. Nasi Wiwit and Ayam Ingkung are the two cuisines that you have to try. They are so delicious.

Do not worry if you are foreigner because they can also guide you in English. The guides are very friendly and polite. One thing that is very interesting for me is the guides are willing to tell you myth and history of the places around the village.

In short, this place is good for you who are finding an escape from the busy life of the city.

Been going to this place each week for a whole month for a workproject and I'm a bit sad to know this good place a bit late. But still, this place serves the best ambience and God's work for its natural environment. As I talk more to the local people, they have and do important role to preserve this village and I get this tingling feeling which is proud of them and I tell you it is insightful. You guys should visit here!
