The entrance fee is quite cheap (IDR 9.5k). Came on weekend and it was crowded. Beware of your belongings as there are monkeys strolling around the area.

I like this place so much, both of ambience and scenery. It has beautiful nature with forest. The sounds of bird, animals, and monkey can make me feel confident like a therapy.
There is a waterfall that can be found when rainy season. Usually at 3:00 PM many monkeys will come to you to get food. They are funny and adorable, but be careful because they are a wild animals, take care of your goods carefully because it will trouble if they are take your stuff away.

A nature recreational park for families in Kaliurang, a famous cool mountain resort in Hargobinangun, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region on the south slopes of Mt. Merapi. The park has a waterfall (especially in the rainy season), gazebos, a rusted high bridge, hiking paths to the Plawangan and Pronojiwo hilltops, and is usually crowded with monkeys. Before the big 2010 Mt. Merapi eruption, it used to be a popular attraction, but the eruption caused some damage and now its position is replaced by the Tlogo Putri Park and other attractions nearby. Clean toilets and musholla (moslem prayer place). Recently as I and my wife came here, it was still closed due to the incessant high volcanic activity of Mt. Merapi.

Fresh air and there's a iconic waterfall. Don't bring any snacks on plastic bag, make sure your snack in your backpack coz there are monkeys. The iconic food are jadah-tempe and rabbit satay. There's also free-entrance traditional show every weekend if you're luck.

So, foreigner pay more than 21 times of Indonesian people!

Easy trip, children and elderly friendly. Lots of macaque monkeys. We can feed them nuts that you can buy from sellers around the place

Waterfall inside the Kaliurang Park. Not far from the entrance around 200 meters. Now the water debit is decrease since the earthquake made some crack in the rocks so the flow is divided. Fresh air and cold water. Be careful with your belongings since alot of monkey around here
