Good experienced, we ate here during our trip to Yogyakarta, met with Chef Richie and he recommended our menu, which turns out to be amazing. Its a small restaorant in Yogyakarta, and not too crowded, but suits us a better.

We also bring our own wine and we got free corkeage. Thats chef Chef!

Good ambience, good food.
The lady server was a little too straight forward, she was not rude i believe she was just trying to be friendly.
The owner came to us to make everything good, that's nice of him. Everyone was smiling.
We enjoyed our meal and time there.

Me and my friends ate here and were mightily impressed with the quality of food and service. We had a variety of dishes (there were 6 of us), all of which were delicious and well portioned. The Nasi Goreng was Nasi Go-peng and the tomato soup was described as “the best I’ve ever tasted... better than heinz”

This place needs to be reserved if you want to enjoy dining here. You will be welcomed by complimentary 'rempeyek' (Indonesian traditional chips made of rice flour and peanut). The chef will greet you once your food is served and will ask if there's anything you want him to know about the food or uf everything is okay. The price ranges from 30-200sK not an expensive price for an easy dining in town. Be careful with the mosquitoes as the place is next to peanut garden.

Me and my wife have been here two times and the services was amazing. The room was incredibly clean and the paddy view was exceptional. So, there is no excuse not to come and try the experience of staying at Rosella Cottage.

Consider one of the best restaurant in Yogyakarta. Its surrounded by paddy field where you can hear crickets frogs etc. its so romantic you’ll regret not taking your best ones here. To sample its best try the rijstaffel. And dutch apple pie the best in town

The staff has sufficient English, they are friendly, the food mostly Indonesian, but will be well recieved even for westerner. The ambient is great, with traditional javanese music, natural sounds of crickets and frogs. And you can eat by the rice field. Just be careful when eating at the rainny season, occasionally bugs will fly to you.
