Open 24h. Nice place with a good environment. There is a Mother Mary statue and Jesus up the hill. It's pretty crowded at the weekend, some people just don't care and talk loudly.
Overall the place is clean and nice.

It is easy to find the place and you can find beautiful scenery during your trip too. The Grotto itself is not so big, yet it is quiet so you can pray silently and do meditation. They are working on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow) too for devotion, hopefully will finish the work soon!

That place was good for pray n the views look like in the middle of the jungle so really really quiet.????????

Sendang Sriningsih that was found in 1934 is a pilgrimage place for Catholic people in Prambanan, the area that is famous for religious Hindu Buddha tourism objects. The Cave of Mary and the spring water will be the media of God's blessings.

This Shrine I personally think this is one of the best in Yogjakarta and its vincinity... There is a well before the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with a traditional bucket that we can have the blessed water from the well... Lately the entrance has been under construction, they will make a road closer to the Grotto so people do not have to climb up the stairs in order to reach the Grotto...

This place has a great history for me. I had walked from Semarang to Sendang Sriningsih with my friend. Thank you Mother Mary! Nice place for praying.
