It's with a heavy heart I gave a 3-star rating for Ayam Goreng Suharti as it's probably one of my most favorite Indonesian fried chickens.

The reason is because they got too commercial now that they don't give much "rerengsek", the residual fritters you get when you cook the chicken. In the past they gave a generous amount of this thing, and now they barely gave any. It's one of the magic in their fried chicken. Now you can still get, but must pay extra.

- Spent Rp. 100.000 for 1 person
- Prefer Ayam Goreng Pemuda in Surabaya. This is not bad though just one notch below AG Pemuda.

the restaurant is "VERY" old, so dont expect the place is very clean, still the food is good
as for the price is medium
they have live music
as for the staff, you have to actively looking for them
service from the staff is not adequate

The place was very old, definitely needs rejuvenation.. but the fried chicken is still the best.. two thumbs up.. taste never change for many years..

It is a legend Indonesian cuisines restaurant. The pioneer of Indonesian crispy fried chicken. The taste is well-maintained, still delicious. The price is relatively expensive, therefore, normally people come to this restaurant only for special occasions. The decorations should be improved.

Legendary Fried Chicken
A place that is always crowded with customers, especially during the holiday season or weekends.
Located in Yogyakarta, precisely on Jalan Laksda Adi Sucipto, near the Janti flyover.
A large dining area that could possibly accommodate 200 people.
Good service.
Parking area.
Relative price.

A very famous local fried chicken with loads of loyal customers from different cities. The location is beside the main east road of Jogja, very easy to find and reach.

They don’t have many menu available since they are specialized in fried chicken. But you can also order fish menu if you prefer it. Taste is great hence the legendary name. Price is not cheap but still reasonable.

They have lots of seating available make it a perfect place for group lunch or dinner. They have separate smoking and non smoking area.

Con: one staff needs to ‘upgrade’ his attitude. I wish i can name him but i think it’s just him get too tired. Good luck for him.
