Went second time during Big Bad Wolf Exhibition on 5 August.

Really like the exibition with nostalgic memory for the old airport. It seems it is unused airport after full oepning of new Yogyakarta airport.

Overall it's a memorable moments in my live.

the airport is very quiet, only small planes can land here or transit planes. but this airport is better because its position is close to the yogya city.

First time to Yogyakarta International Airport. Have interior and exterior of International airport look just like in any other big countries. Spacious, baggage rail, artistically design, clean of course, enough parking lot. Hope it continuously maintained well.

Once I thought that all flight already moved into the new airport. Unfortunately, I missed the flight because I went to the wrong airport.
Later did I know, two flights still operate from Adisucipto: trip to Bandung and Surabaya.
Please be aware of this, double check your ticket!
The airport looked sad and deserted. Many taxi, gojek and grab drivers wandered around, but no passengers. They were so kind, but nothing left in this small airport.
It's better to close it.

A memorable airport. Now this small airport only serves ATR flights.

Only air port in Yogyakarta. Small air port but there are many people who are wiating for traveler.
It is not didficult to find out way out and easy to get a taxi.

Helpful public transportation for those who need an airport located near by the city of Yogyakarta. Flights destinations are not many, mostly to Jakarta. Best option to fly to Jakarta is by using Citylink Airline. No need to be surprised if you found that the airport is not crowded, it is common because it is inly few of flights coming in and out. The venue is clean but under renovation. There is only one canteen available near by the taxi pool, other food stalls is closed so if you are going to fly please mind yourself to have a meal before you enter the airport. Swab test facility is available and located 300 meters from Domestic Departure Terminal. If you going to leave the airport, you may easily find taxis. Taxis are still available both online and offline but you have to walk to their pool instead of waiting at the airport lobby.
