Located up on the hill and part of Sumberwatu Heritage Resort, the restaurant conveys the beauty of Yogyakarta and Central Java’s landscape fronted by Prambanan Temple and Mount Merapi. Best time to visit is in the evening, though it’s mostly overcrowded by visitors. It doesn’t offer wide selection of menu and the price is a bit on the high end with decent taste.

part of a larger hotel resort. up a bit of a hill but manageable. kinda annoying that the menu is via a QR code and ya gotta view it on your phone but the food is excellent and worth the generally more expensive that usual for Indonesia price. great view even on a cloudy day. about 10 mins from the area temples. quick service. definitely recommended.

I've been dinning to several fine resto locals and internationals, this is one of the does-not-worth-your-time-and-money-just-skip-it kind of place.
Food's taste are below average, ambience and view are so so, they do look good, presentations are well shown, just when you taste them, disappointment comes.
That satay, it's so hard that you need so much effort to chew them, and oh that raw meat smell... that really turn my mood off.
They serve this prawn dishes maybe a frozen not so fresh prawn, texture is mushy with a bitter after taste. They don't even can make a simple fish and chips!!! Fish is so dry, also with that kind of frozen kind of fish with bad after taste, and chips... oh my God, who can not deep fried a simple chips? it's wet, oily and ah... forget it i've lost in words.
Think twice if you are looking for a place to dine. Only come if you curious, have some snacks or coffee, but please forget about the main course.
About the price... be prepared, this place is waaayyy toooo bloody expensive, i mean, its f-in way too expensive. Really not worth the experience.
Sorry i have to lower the rating down to 1 star (from 2 stars), because just after the dinner, some of us got a stomach problem. Please to dear management, do better with the quality control and the value of your menu.
This is the first time I've ever so disappointed with a fine resto.
To the Abhayagiri management, let me know if its possible to ask for a full refund. At least that's the simple u0026 kind gesture for you to make my day.

The restaurant has nice view, overlooking Mount Merapi and Prambanan Temple. That is the special thing about this place. But the food was so so and I think it's overpriced. Much more expensive than I thought ????

Outdoor space was quite hot on sunny day. But they have some fans to cool you down. ????

If you want to come, I suggest you have an early dinner, around 6pm. So you can see the view and also the lights from their fenomenal spot ????

Great resto with delizious food and beverages. You can enjoy Prambanan temple from distance, paddy field, Yogya from up high. Remarkable place to spend with your beloved ones and family. Excellent services. We promise to come over and over again everytime we visit Yogya.

The restaurant, which offers views of the Prambanan temple, will be interesting at night. Delicious food. The staff is very helpful and kind. The interior design is also interesting. Lots of spots for selfies.

Good enough for me. The things they actually offer is the view, the atmosphere, the ambiance. Their food is average, for me too expensive. They offering fine dining concept.
