THIS. IS. THE. BEST. RAMEN. in Sidoarjo, if not all over east java. Sounds exaggerating, but let me explain.

1. The Location
This one will be very weird/funny to explain, but at the same time, it is clever (for me, at the very least).

It is located on the same stall that sells Nasi Pecel, Rawon, and Nasi Campur during the day. This is where i find this place is cleverly located, because it has the traditional-indonesian-stall feels that surround it, but at the same time it also gives the traditional japanese street ramen stall just being located on the street!

2. The Ramen

2.1. The Broth
I ordered Yamanote Ramen and Shoyu Ramen.

Yamanote Ramen is a thick, deep, chicken flavoured broth ramen, in every good way. I can still taste of the broth an hour after i finished it.

While Shoyu Ramen has the lighter broth, but still contains that deep fishy and chicken flavour, though.

2.2. The Ramen
Ramen texture?checked.
Ramen chewyness?checked.
The way they arrange the ramen like the way a barber comb their client's hair sideways?double checked.

2.3. The Chicken
Both Yamanote and Shoyu has it.
It is sooooooo juicy yet it has that roasted flavour, because it is roasted. I got two of them. Lucky me.

So the conclusion is, it is actually a 6 out of 5 stars because it is beyond my expectation. And i will definitely revisit it, once in a month, at least.

Really good Japanese restaurant, perhaps even the best in town. The place is very small so prepare to queue

This is the best ramen I've had in a while.
The shop is small and it doesn't look much from the outside. But don't be fooled by the appearance. This place serves the best ramen in town. The price is worth every drop of the soup here. It tastes very close to an authentic Japanese ramen. The service is another great thing this shop has. One more thing: the ramen egg is to die for.

It's just unbelievably good....one of the best Japanese food with affordable price that I've ever tasted. 4 thumbs up!

Ordered Yamanote ramen and shrimp tempura, the ramen is more akin to tsukemen than a proper ramen but it's still delicious. The noodles itself are just run-of-the-mill noodles but the broth and meat is great. Shrimp tempura feels very meh though. Overall it's good considering this is "warung" style establishment, but don't expect more.

This place is tucked inside a small space between large building so finding parking space will be very difficult, be careful.
