OYO 233 Hotel Global Inn

I stayed here last August 2019. The hotel is easy to recognize from the double road to the Juanda Airport. I arrived from Stasiun Waru, then I ordered ojek online to take me to this place. The distance was pretty close. I just had to pay not more than IDR 20K.

1. The check-in procedure is quite fast. The guy assisted me well. He seemed polite and kind. You just need to inform them the booking code and your name. After they find it, they will ask you to leave your identity card as guarantee. Then, the key and wifi password are yours.
2. While entering to the room (I got a room in the first floor), the smell for me was quite normal, but not my partner. The amenities were quite complete.
3. The WIFI connection was not really stable. Sometimes I need to use my own internet data.
4. They do not provide enough toilet pepper. My partner had to ask twice to the receptionist but he said he did not have more. May be they need to provide more toilet pepper for the guests whom need it.
5. Before I booked the hotel, I compared the price from some OTA. I found OYO gave me the best offer. I stayed for one night only because of the late night flight.
6. The hotel is suitable for solo traveller, couples, late night flight, transit flight because of the diatance from Juanda airports. I walked with my partner from T2 Juanda to the hotel until we decided to order ojek online.
7. You can easily find people selling food nearby. So, you do not need to be hungry without food, but only Indonesian food.
8. The AC is quite normal but not the hot shower. My partner said it was not hot. We did complaint but the receptionist said everything was ok.

There were 2 cockroaches in the bedroom, many dark spots in the linen u0026 bedsheets, yellow stains in bathroom. When we asked to change the room, the only option is smaller twin bedroom with many plastic trash under the bed u0026 wardrobe. We refused, because that room is worse. Then we asked them to change the bedsheet u0026 linen, they said its all in the laundry. They suggest us to complain to OYO's Area General Manager contact listed. Unanswered calls. Chat replied, with a promise of compensation Rp 200.000 for next stay at OYO's property. Termsu0026conditions unable to described even when I asked more than one time. Thats it, I'm enough with OYO. That's not me who need to represent good image of the company. I'm totaly regret my stay in this hotel u0026 OYO.

"Global Inn Hotel" was confused with "Global Inn Airport Hotel" on Google maps. The former was listed on Google maps, while the latter is not even on the map, which we ended up at, and further away from the airport.

Room is very basic. Room is slightly dirty and dim. Bedding has stains. Toilet door lock is missing. Very dodgy looking place. But it has the cheapest per night rate around the area. I guess you get what you pay for.

Difficult to find even yes not so far from the airport, there are ants in every part of the room that they gave me, also too much mosquitos, dust on the table, the staff less responsible, have to ask again and again about some stuff that hotel should give to, the towel looks so old and dirty, the colour of towel should be white instead i got it grey.
the breakfast looks pathetic, got Nasi Goreng with a piece of omelet but the colour of Nasi Goreng looks strange and the taste bad...

The inn is located near from Bungurasih (Purabaya) Terminal and Juanda International Airport, at the region of Semambung.
The facilities you get is proportioned to the price. The place may not be as fancy as the neighbouring hotels, but it is the choice if you want budget hotel.

AC and shower were good.
Linen was worn, needs replacement.
Wifi was good enough.
Airport is 10 minutes drive away.

A cozy place to stay. But, the lighting for the little park could be improved to avoid the dim light impression
