Nice old house with big parking area. Their satay is great though a bit pricey. The soup was also good. There were many mosquitoes even though it was air conditioned. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall satisfactory.

sate 29 is always a legend. they simply live up their name as "the best lamb BBQ (sate kambing) in town". this one is another branch, located exactly in the downtown which makes people who live in downtown easier to buy.

Salah satu cabang Sate Kambing 29 yg terkenal. The place is better than the place in old city Semarang, because its cleaner and has air conditioners

Just a word, legend.. if you like goat, this one is considered pioneer and famous in Semarang. You can find several branches of Sate 29, but what I like about this place, is the spacious parking lot compared to any other branches. Also available here Ote Ote, similar to bakwan.. have a try

It's a good place to eat. This is a dutch-vintage style restaurant that serves local Indonesian cuisine, Gulai kambing (sort of goat curry stew). It also serves goat satay. The goat meat has a great chewiness, not stinky at all, and also juicy. The service is very good too. For some people, the foods in this restaurant are probably pricey. However, the foods came out in a good quality and taste, so I personally have no complaint on this aspect. Overall, I'd like to go back to this restaurant to eat the goat satay especially.
