This is one of statues located adjacent the city center of Semarang, and it could be say as one of the iconic and heroic statue in Semarang. It is made as a symbol of revenge of Pangeran Diponegoro, an Indonesian national hero, to colonialism of The Netherlands in Indonesia. The statue is not big but can be seen easily if you go through this place, especially if you go through Universitas Diponegoro complex in Pleburan, a well known state university in Semarang that got its name from the hero. There are no tourist attraction that you can see here.
