I don't even like babat, but this nasi goreng was soooo delicious, very flavourful, umami!
we were the 1st customer there that day XD
But yeah maybe when I came to Semarang, I'll visit this stall again!

The place is quite dirty (many trash were scattered) and the prices were quite... Unreasonable for such quality. They'll charge u an extra 3k for each takeaway item. If u like spicy food, then request the staff to make it super spicy—they'll give u all the sweet fried rice even though u ordered it to be spicy.

The legend Nasi Goreng Babat Pak Karmin Semarang is known as a must-visit-place whenever we go to Semarang. It is located in the famous Kota Lama of Semarang. The visitors can eat beside the ‘Mberok’ big river with a view of beautiful vintage buildings in Kota Lama. It tastes just like the other nasi goreng babat. I prefer the Babat Gongso because it has a rich babat taste. It also has a balance taste; savory and sweet. There are also pickled cucumber that we can get as much as we want and kerupuk. I really love spending time here, especially at night.

The place is not representative, it is on the banks of the Mberok River, Semarang, next to the office of the Department of Finance, next to the Mberok Bridge (Corner side), Kota Lama.
Available toilets - public bathrooms with a minimum rate of 2K min.
The taste of the Rice Stirs Innards is well maintained, the sweet, spicy and savory tripe - Innards is stir-fried, has a very distinctive aroma and makes you hungry.
Both Nasi Babat Gongso and Nasi Goreng Babat Gongso Pak Karmin are all very indulgent, especially for those who like to eat petai, the perfect combination of the magic of food.
The topping is an omelette or fried egg, plus fresh cucumber pickles, prawn crackers and melinjo crackers on top.
Wow, what other favors would you deny...

The taste is more to salty and sweet without any distinct flavour whatsoever. Second time to come here after a long time to bring nostalgic feeling, however, still not impressed with the taste.

Bit pricey for a street-hawker type of stall, 20K for its fried rice with cow tripe and 40K for its stir-fried cow tripe. Location is quite easy to reach near old town area of Semarang.

Nice place to eat in the afternoon, under big trees. Specialty menu is from cow's stomach: Nasi goreng Babat-stomach(rumen), Babat Gongso (fried stomach with sweet soy sauce). For spicy level you can order. Price is make sense
