Tay Kak Sie is one of the biggest and oldest historical Chinese temple in Semarang. Located in the middle of China town and consisted with 3 main buildings. It is being used daily up until now. The structure, interior and exterior is so artistic and full of symbols and meanings. Various ceremonies are also being held here. Celebration is happening in regular basis too. Staff are very friendly here. Feel free to ask anything about the background or story of the temple. There is a pujasera or food stalls at the same location. There is a very popular lumpia in the same location.

A place of worship for Buddhists, located in downtown Chinatown and in the area of u200bu200bmany typical food vendors in Semarang such as spring rolls and so on. This temple is quite active though not too big.
