Delicious Gudeg and not too sweet as the usual one... They have cassava Leaves and also cabbage beside normal gudeg. Just make sure you come early as they open 6am and sometimes by 11.30 am all has sold out

That was one scrumptious gudeg! The flavor penetrated deep into everything. This is the place to go to experience umame. The chicken and beef are very tender.
The place itself is simple, but quite an upgrade from the classic street food stall. Parking area is available. And there are other food vendors in this food park.

I have to say this is one of the best gudeg in Semarang. They are always packed even early in the morning. As for myself, who's not really into gudeg, this is by far my comfort choice for gudeg. Not too sweet and the taste is there. Although the price is a little bit above the average, but portion wise you get what you paid for.

One of the must try food in Semarang for me. Compare to Gudeg from Jogja, this has less sweet but more savoury taste. In one portion you will get rice, cooked young jackfruit, shredded chicken, tofu (sometimes), cabbage cooked with coconut milk, hot "krecek" and potato, and "koyor". You can ask for spicy ones too, and you will get their special hot sauce. The price is quite high for locals, but it has great taste.

I've been coming to this place for years now. It serves up very traditional Javanese Food Gudeg. The way the Gudeg is served is a little bit different from more traditional Gudeg that is popular in Yogyakarta or Solo. As you can see from the picture I've attached, there's more coconut soup in the plate compared to Gudeg Jogja. At any rate, here's my review of the place:
Place : It's a 'warung' or hawker in the corner of parking space. The place itself is nothing special.
Cleanliness : Average for a warung makan in Semarang. Relatively clean table and utensils in an outdoor environment.
Food: Delicious and on the sweet side of the scale for Gudeg. You can ask for the "sambal goreng" to make it a bit more spicy. If you love to try out different varieties of Gudeng, and there are many, this is a certifiable GO, a must try in Semarang.
Overall: 7/10. Nothing but good eats here, no frills. Arrive way before 3pm if possible because they tend to run out of their daily supply if you are cutting it close.
