Banjir kanal means Flood Channel, a man made river to avoid flood, on this case flood in the city of Semarang.
The surrounding is clean with a quite wide inspection sreet.
So much different compared to 9-10 years ago.

This is a good place with many trees and nice decorations, but I think it needs more lights at night, so the bridge can be interesting.

Now it turns to a very nice to hangout, playing with kids, jogging in the morning. It's clean now, goverment have done a very good job to this place.

quite place to stroll morning, sunset or even night. there's bench spread around the canal to sitting while enjoy the river view
