First time rock climbing and via ferrata here in Mount Parang, Purwakarta, West Java. It's really challenging sport to climb this mountain. Need around 3-4 hours via ferrata to reach the first point. It's really tiring. We need to use hand gloves to protect our hand from wound. Also need harness and helmet. You can choose one day trip or two day trip to enjoy this mountain.

It takes only 2,5 hours from the heart of Jakarta to reach here, to use the via ferrata I'm using Sky Walker guide provider in here, they provide black diamond gears which is a big plus for this kind of extreme activity so chance of gear failure is minimum and i got more peace of mind, they've several route on the cliff, the highest route will need a whole day and they can provide portaledge camp, the view was great, the food they provide is good, very recommended.
