Great place for hang out, many options for food and stuff. My favorites here are satay stall and durian with ice. Must visit Simpang Kinol if you went to Padang, especially for early dinner in the afternoon.

Good place to hang out until late night in Padang. This place also quite popular among travelers. Right here you can find various stall and shop offering various foods and beverages, from Danguang-danguang Satay—original Padang satay, martabak, pecel lele, bakso, mie ayam, etc. To access this place is also very easy. The price? It is quite reasonable for general people.

Simpang Kinol has a strategic location in China Town, Padang City. Great place to hang out until late night. Many variety of culinary around this place and nearby Tepi Pasang road. Right here you can find the famous Soto Minang Roda Jaya, Sate Danguang Danguang, Ayam Rica Rica Mas Bagus, martabak Kubang, etc. Tepi Pasang road usually jammed on Saturday, because the road is one way.

Good place to taste local Padang food , if you are there lets try ......make a note if you dont like spicy.
