Incredible place hidden away on the beach in the jungle! We had a great stay and an excellent time.

Excellent getaway. We stayed here 4 nights. Incredible sunsets, wandering the beach, snorkelling, different and delicious food every meal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only 2 guests but there were still 5 people working which is great to see. Little slice of paradise.

Renu and Nad have built a pretty amazing space in the jungle. The beach is beautiful and the staff are great. We went up to a waterfall in the Jungle with Don - great day out. Plus they put back into the local community and village. We felt like there were more opportunities for the Eco Lodge to let guests get involved with the community (such as helping locals tidy up their village) but we may have missed this. We also appreciate the challenge with this given the scale of the rubbish challenge Indonesia faces. We'd definitely stay again but would love the opportunity to get a bit more involved.

My second time there and still so enjoyable. Fully out of time, you're gonna forget about the days and hours,
They've got a project under a non-profit organisation about the environment and do their best to preserve the jungle and the ocean by organising meetings with locals an discuss about what could be done in order to this.
The bungalows (3 different kind) are well maintained and they now all have electricity hot water and western toilets. Nadège and Reno, the owners are such a kind people as well as the whole team that you will shortly feel at home.
I recommend this place to the nature lovers (but not to the internet addicts). Swimming, kanoe, snorkeling, trekking in the jungle are good hobbies there and it is also possible to ask for a boat trip to the islands around, or just simply relax on the beach or on a hammock with a book and a cup of tea (or a cold beer) which is fine enough!
I definitely will come back again!

There are very few places where one can find primary rainforest with an abundance of wildlife on the edge of a pristine beach, with snorkeling right off shore. We saw three different species of primates, sea turtles, hornbills, herons, eagles, and more colorful fish than we could count. Such a beautiful, wild, natural location! Reno and Nad, and all of the staff are wonderful, and we really appreciate their focus on sustainability and conservation. Our kids never tired of exploring the grounds, swimming in the calm surf, watching the abundant birdlife and hermit crabs, and collecting seashells. Highly recommended - can't wait to return!

Nad and her team do an amayzing job for protecting the forest, mangrove and coral baie and the associated wildlife surrounding the resort. They have ambicious conservation projects and are very actif and motivated. It is such an amazing experience to spend time there and learn from them. We met so many birds, hudge trees in the jungles, monkeys, colorfull fishes and big turtles. The Nature around this place is so beautifull. In addition, the team is very friendly and always make us feel good. We stayed 8 nights there and never felt bored. Thanks to all Rimba team for the wonderfull time !

Great place on an isolated beach with only a few bungalows. Very quiet, with good snorkeling and excellent food. Also, Nad and Reno are the nicest bungalow owners around !
