While I haven't visited all of Padang so-calledbest "Keripik Balado" seller, this store so far has the best blend of spice and sweet sensation (more on the spice than the sweetness, so definitely subjective opinion since I personally like the spicy taste more). Paired with cassava chip that have the right amount of crispiness (crispy, but not tough), this is pretty much the best "Keripik Balado" that I ever had. If you want other souvenir other than "Keripik Balado", you might have to go to other more famous gift shop, because this shop specialize in their namesake

Recommended place for food souvenir. One of the oldest "kripik balado" maker and one of the best if not the best. Always brought kripik balado from nan salero for souvenir and my friends prefer it compared to other brands. This shop is not too crowded because it not doing partnership with travel bus and promotion. My recommendation is kripik balado, serondeng, kerupuk kentang dengan petai, dakak-dakak
