Its crowded at the weekend. You can rent Gowes, like a sccoter for 30 min.
Also you can get in the boat for short trip

The sand is too coarse because of broken pieces of shells, should be more careful when walking with children along the beach. its crowded during the weekend but its still enjoyable. The places provide many exciting attractions where children can have fun.

Good place for a cheap, short getaway. Most kids will like this place. White sands, water, bit of beach scene. No entrance fee, but since it's located inside Ancol, you will still need to pay for Ancol entrance fee. Visitor is not allowed to bring meal or picnic carpet to the beach since the mall host many restaurants and food stall, including Indomaret. Most people would consider to come here in the morning or in the afternoon, when the air is not too hot. Such alternative for a one day trip.
