A pleasant full experience with warm greet from the staff. Nice small restaurant but fancy layout made by the management.
I would recommend and love to stay back again at this hotel when in Jakarta.

Not a 4-star hotel. It boggles my mind that the el Hotel Royale Jakarta is listed as a 4-Star Hotel. It is a run-down 2-star at best. Me and my wife here as part of staycation, and I cannot recommend. This hotel so bad for 4star hotel. The rooms is small and old design. Reception inform me that the Tv is smart tv. In reality the TV is small and not smart tv. I’m so dissapointed. I stay today 10sep 2022 and i feel so bad.

Personally, I think the room is clean and cold. Their interior also quite good. However, their bed is really hard (or firm), and honestly this was the hardest bed I’ve ever sleep into. Maybe they choose the firmer bed for health concern (I read that that firm bed is good for health), but It is way too firm for me (not really my preference but if you are someone who love to sleep in firm bed maybe it would be perfect). The breakfast also quite good. Overall, the hotel is quite OK, but I think I would raise the review star if it is for 3-star hotel, not a 4 star like this hotel.

Not a 4-star hotel. It boggles my mind that the el Hotel Royale Jakarta is listed as a 4-Star Hotel. It is a run-down 2-star at best. My family of 3 stayed here as part of a package vacation deal, and I cannot recommend it. We were supposed to have a 3-person room. I can only assume that the bench at the foot of the only bed in the room was considered “sleepable?.” My wife had to argue for an additional blanket and pillow of which the staff tried to charge us. A manager had to step in to clear that added expense. There were two thread bare towels in the room and a mat to step on when exiting the tub. No other hand towels or wash rags. Our bath came with a shower spray cord that was only about 3-feet long, so you had to sit down in the filthy tub to wash and rinse your hair. The bed was an overstuffed futon that left our backs and hips aching in the morning also. The breakfast experience was just that. I can only describe it as Old Testament Biblical in that the other guests descended upon the buffet like locusts as soon as it was refilled. The poor staff did the best they could, but this complaint is primarily directed at the clientele the hotel attracts. The next morning we opted to walk next door to the Mall of Indonesia and had a delicious breakfast at Artisan Social Affair MOI. Recommendation, if you do stay here, make sure to bring a power plug converter, since the outlets are all European style. —I used GrabApp to order five converters that were delivered to me within an hour. I also recommend downloading GrabApp if you vacationing in Asia. It’s Uber u0026 Amazon rolled up into one app.

THE HOTEL IS VERY POOR IN THE BOOKING PERFORMANCE, i check in agoda for a superior double but they said it was full, and they give me twin instead REALLY NOT RECOMMENDED IN GADING AREA you might as well stay in another place

all the facilities are broken too, the parking is in B 2 and a lot of walking overall NOT RECOMMENDING THIS

We stay here for 7D6N for quarantine. We use apartment with 2 bed rooms. The room is clean and quite big and has a balcony in each room. The food is good too and surprisingly they sent a birthday cake on my son's birthday. We could not order any food so thank you for giving my son a birthday cake.
