I’m from malaysia. Rented an apartment with them, when i took the keys for my unit (a8.28 gading icon apartment), they said I’d be able to get my deposit immediately once i return the key. On the day i returned the keys, suddenly they told me they wouldn’t be able to give cash and they’d transfer. Asked if they could transfer to maybank, they said okay. Now that we’re already in malaysia they have been giving so much excuses. “Cant transfer to maybank”. Gave them cimb acc no, “ga bisa mba”. So many excuses, which I believe they’re actually scamming us. They’re the ones who need to refund so it doesn’t matter if they’d need to bear extra cost, it’s still their responsibility to give us back our deposit amount. It’s been more than a month now.
Also, throughout our stay, electricity and water bills are always given by then in written form instead of the official bill from authorities so we never know if the amount theyve written is honest or not.
All in all, avoid at all cost. Haven’t received our deposit even after a month!
