Wang Steamboat + Bak Kut Teh

Not hoping for much but, turns out this place serves good food. They serves (like the restaurant's name) bakutteh and steamboat, but I haven't tried their steamboat yet. From my experience there, a lot of people order their fried pork belly and steamboat. So their steamboat must be good I think..
You must try their fried pork belly (fried samcan), it was delicious and crispy. We ordered their fried keoy-tiaw and turn out it's also very nice, with generous bean sprouts. Their seafood fried rice was also ????, but their keoy-tiaw is more delicious than their fried rice imo. Their bakutteh (both soup u0026 dry) is quite nice. And if you want to drink nice coffee, you can easily order them from kopi lokal that located just beside this restaurant, they even have connecting door to connect the restaurant and the coffee shop. Will come back for sure

Tasty food and price reasonable. Customer service not that good. The hotpot should let’s us cook ourselves and have more varieties of dipping sauce . Overall I’m okay and would return again .

Passed by and decided to give it a try - bak kut teh, both dry and soup.

The dry bak kut teh was a bit too sweet for me, pork belly cuts were hard to chew and not tender at all. But, the pork kidney slices are tasty, no foul smell and chewy.

The soup based bak kut teh is totally out of the league. The pork was not tender, hard and plain. The soup was so so because it doesn't taste like bak kut teh.

The cold coffee milk was the only reason I rate 3 star. If not, it could have been a 2 star.

Maybe i should got for its steamboat, not the bak kut teh.

The Baku teh was tasteless or just lacks taste
The waiters seems inexperienced as they are not focus with their jobs, they either lack the focus or just generally inexperienced.

The other food are decent

But the food with meat are hard to chew.

When compared to other restaurants,
I think this restaurant food is a little more expensive, because of the lack of taste.

The price isnt worth to pay because the bak kut teh soup doesnt have a taste. Its plain and i had to add soy souce to maximize the taste. The io ci/ pig's kidney doesnt smell good too.

Well its the first time i eat steamboat without a stove and hotpot pot.. How can we name that a stemboat then?stem mean the food keeps boiling or steam The food is surely cold faster! I just dont enjoy the food becausw its going cold so fast.. U can refill Chinese tea but its per glass the price.. Just dont really get it...
