2022 update 2:
They can do even better on scamming: weekends will cost you a 100% extra compared to internet pricing like with Agoda or traveloka or similar services. Cleaning is minimal to non-existent, staff is rude and not helpful.
2022 update 1:
So you book on the internet and when you arrive you have to pay a surcharge, saying they advertise too cheap and staff has to pay the remainder out of their own pockets before you get to your room, i call it cheating. Bad practice.
2021: Good for it's price, noisy though but you can expect that on jl. Gatot Subroto, dense traffic, day and night. Be sure to ask for a room in the back, much more quiet. I give 2 stars because our room was next to the reception and during the night staff were arguing very loud in Batak language and even refused to take their argument elsewhere indoors when being told that it wakes their customers up in the middle of the night. Shamefull this attitude of the staff.
