Home recipe fried rice is the hit of this shop. Its shop name "semalam suntul" means boring night as it suggests when you have a boring night, this fried rice will cheer you up.

I order a take away to avoid the crowd. The fried rice is fragrant along with pickles, crackers, cucumber. The gas stove fire flame is well controlled to bring out the fragrance.

(Read till end) First impression : Eww so oily.. Then after finish eating : the taste is nice, usually Indonesian Fried Rice dominant which spicy but this one is sweet taste, i love the chicken topping. All taste balance and the food price is IDR20k. More expensive than usual fried rice price but considering the legendary place and food taste, it is okay. Waiters also communicative, react fast if our order come out long enough.

Love this fried rice so much. This is the best fried rice in Medan (for me). Love love love their fried rice. Fried rice was cooked in very large wok pan, and after you order, they would pair this yummy fried rice with pickles consist of chili and shallots, fried egg, crackers and beef/chicken pieces. Totally recommended! And it's tastier and (mysteriously) in bigger portion if you order take away.

This food tasted fine. Many people (Local and Traveler) goes to this restaurant because acknowledged as a legendary restaurant. ????
