The family that runs this place is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate you. Basic but clean rooms. The guest house is very comfortable and the owners checking me in immediately made me feel welcome. The staff were smiley, friendly and very helpful. In your room you're provided with tea/coffee and you can get free water the whole day.

We had only planned to stay in Medan as a stop-over but we had a very pleasant experience due to the very friendly staff at k77 guesthouse! They helped us out with planning our trip and organised for a tourist bus to pick us up to take us to our next destination. The breakfast was very delicious and filling! :)

The lovely family are so welcoming and the rooms and very nice. You had a to pay a bit extra for the breakfast but it was really nice. Johan and Lola work so hard to maintain the place well and were so helpful with information on what to do around the area and where to go from Medan.

Amazing place, loveliest couple and their children, so kind and helpful. My first night I was so tired and the 3 children brought home cooked Indonesian food up to my room... ! Clean and spacious, I am travelling north but will come back here before leaving Sumatra...highly recommend ????

Impeccably clean property. Hosts Johan and Lola are extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. Breakfast was a feast u0026 they organised taxi to bring us to airport. We really liked it here and highly recommend K77 to every traveller exploring Sumatra, e.g. before doing a trip to Bukit Lawang or the elephant ride in Tangkahan.

Everything was clean in the guesthouse. Lola and her kids were so friendly and hospitable, we felt right at home. Mosque blasts prayers at 430am so be sure to prepare earplugs.
