Ordered a bunch of different dishes at this "nasi padang" style restaurant. Normally in other nasi padang restaurant will bring a bunch of different dishes to your table and you pick the ones you want to eat, however over here you order your dishes individually. All the dishes are very nice and yummy. Some of the chillies are spicy and others are mild. Price wise it's not as cheap as others but you're paying for service and air-conditioning.

We ordered Green Chili Fried Chicken, Beef Rendang, Corn Fritter, Cassava Leaves Curry and Packed rice (white rice packed with vegetable and curry sauce) based on the recommendation of the restaurant's owner.u2029Every menu that she recommend was so nice and we quickly finished our dinner. The beef rendang was so tender and the green chili fried chicken was spicy and addictive. The cassava leaves curry taste was so special and it was the star of our dinner that night. In overall, the food taste in Istana Krakatau restaurant is very nice although the price is quite expensive. The service speed is also long.

When i visit here, i always like to order "nasi ikan kakap goreng". Love it too much
