A great hiding place in the middle of hectic Medan. Quite surprised actually to find such a countryside atmosphere hotel in the middle of a busy city. Surrounded by trees and nice hotel staff and of course the owner herself, Mrs Huber for her warm welcome. Swimming pool was fun. This is recommended.

Facilities were okay, can be improved from time to time. The cafe was closed during my visit (3 days 2 nights). No food was available. Only drinks.

There was one night when my friend came to visit and did not sleep (she came at 1 AM and went out at 4 AM), the safety guard asked me to pay Rp 100k initially cause he said additional person must be charged as there were two persons already. Then, I explained to him that my friend will only stay for a while. I don’t mind paying the charge though but he said the price can be reduced to Rp 50k if I pay to him. How is that possible?

Does it mean he’s taking the money for him? I did not pay him and told him that I want it to be cut from my deposit instead. He threathened me that if I paid during check-out, I’ll be charged for Rp 100k.

I find it fishy. And I am not comfortable with it. That’s all, I hope the management could take further action regarding this matter.
