Authentic Sasak cuisine: ayam Taliwang. Tasty, full of unami and has to be very spicy. One of Indonesia's top notch food.

Twi main shows: ayam pedas and ayam madu (sweeter). Serverd with original bumbu and sambal (this humble sambal is full of kick).

The vegetable dishes: beberok terong, terong bakar and plecing kangkung are not less spicy either.

That leaves the rice to be the only thing which is not spicy at all. ???? the drinks are common Indonessian restaurant's beverages: tea, squeezed orange, young coconut, etc.

The price is reasonable for such cuisine.

Prayer room for Moslem is available.

There are 3 franchise of this famous Ayam Taliwang, this one is the first. During weekdays, not that crowded. But during weekend, better come early for lunch / dinner.

The toilet is a bit gloomy, but at least it is clean.

You should visit here when you are in beautiful Lombok. ❤

Taliwang authentic grilled chicken cuisine. My favourite taste. Recommended if you want to explore the culinary menus in Lombok Island

Its one of the best for grilled chicken taliwang, sweet spicy grilled fish. Grilled chicken taliwang here grilled when grill and not rubbery meat. For the sweet spicy grilled fish is the best, sweet sauce and delicious taste. Fresh and soft meat, not fishy smell.

Recommended place, its almost like private gather due to no guest beside our group. If possible order ahead before coming cause they served all ingredient from scratch n fresh. Take a long time to served almost 30 minutes preparation to served.

The owner n staf is friendly and good service.

Supposedly the original Ayam Taliwang restaurant in Mataram, Lombok. The food is good at very affordable and reasonable price. This particular site has limited parking space, so if you come in group by bus you might want to go to another branch that has larger parking space

First generation Traditional Lombok food that's called "Ayam Bakar Taliwang/ Taliwang Grilled Chicken". It's will give you a pure taste experience.

Taste comes first. They're "pertama" after all. Juat ask for special spiciness should you want to for your plecing and sambal
