Shanaya Resort Malang is really good and awesome. The room is clean and beautiful. I love the blue tiles, the huge bathtub, and the lovely bedding. High quality. I love the thoughtful team that messages me directly asking if there is anything they can do to make my stay more comfortable. It was my birthday when I stay here, and I got 3 cakes from them... they are one of the most excellent resort staff I've met.

The selection of breakfast is not too many, but it is okay because everything is delicious.... good job chef!

I am coming back for sure. Keep up the good work.

My first impression when I entered my room is the earthy and woody smell that feels very nice and suits the overall interior design. The unit is very spacey, it has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a backyard with a private pool. The resort itself has a very nice view, with a river on the back, and there are some glamping sites within. They also provide some common pools for those who booked rooms without private pool. Their staffs and hospitality service is great, hands down. Most of rooms without breakfast included, however the fee for breakfast is quite cheap considering the range of food the provide auch as Indonesian dishes, western dishes, bread and pastry, waffles, juices and infused water, assorted sweet porridge, various fritters, as well as Indonesian traditional drinks (jamu).

Staff are courteous place is amazingly beautiful.. Our room Kartanegara is spacious and clean..definitely coming back in this resort... Good job team..

A quite decent hotel. They have several types of room.

Kertanegara: Definitely a huge one if you compare it to ordinary hotel room. With its unique concept bringing contemporer feel for the guests. A large bathroom, a nice bedroom, a unique rtv remote if I say. Definitely a new sensation of staycation. They have umbrella as well in case of its rainy outside.

Ranggawuni Gelamping: I didn't stay in this one but my parents did. If you want a different feel of staycation this room is a must try. You will feel staying at a hit with it primitive style. Wooden floor, wooden rooftop almost everything in wood elements. But they put an old Indonesian Kingdom feeling at the bathroom. A really unique and experience of using bathroom if I must say. No TV here ????

Breakfast just meh. Not much of food variants but still ok. To reach the room, the hotel provide a car shuttle (which is good and bad) since the rooms located quite remote from the main lobby. You can hear the Adzan call as well even the rooms located quite far from the main road.

Overall experience is good. Might try again someday.

A beautiful new resort with a good weather. It's a good place for a short getaway.
I ordered cappuccino on their café but it was not worth the price.

Not bad. My experience was a glamping suite. The bathroom's roofless placement was already surreal to begin with, as the weather might end up interfering with any plans to shower. The service was pretty great. At night, when I took a little walk around, the view was spectacular (with my phone camera's night mode helping me see it more). In the end, Shanaya is a good (and probably absurdist) hotel, serving as an interesting experience.

Booked 4 rooms for a night stay, for 7 adults, 1 teenager and 1 baby.
They gave us 4 rooms located infront of their new projects which was dusty and bloody noisy, but they offered to move us to the other room ( upgraded ) and they apologized and sending some drinks and cakes .. they also offered us to have breakfast in the morning as apology .. but we refused as they have already upgraded our rooms, and that was enough and super ????????.. We do not want too much things as we paid so little compared to what we got!
