Masjid Salman al Farisi is a new mosque in Malang that has a similar design with Taj Mahal in India. This mosque being popular with name Taj Mahal of Malang. This place is located far from the town, so if you want to visit this mosque you need at least 30 mins with normal traffic. Beside that, this place also quite hidden, so you can't see the mosque before you really closed to the place.

Masjid Salman al Farisi is one of beautiful big mosque in Malang. It is located in Batu. The location is easy to find. You just need to follow the google maps carefully. We choose to pass perumahan street to reach this place.

In the entrance, you will see security place. You will read a notice "harap menutup aurat" means you need to use polite clothes to enter this mosque.

The parking lot is so big. This place is actually pesantren for students to study. They are still building the entire places near the mosque.

Good place for prayer, especially when ramadhan, nice people, nice scenery when sunset or sunrise, wide parking place, beautiful building design remind us of taj mahal

Pros: Only 10 mins away by motorbike/car from my home. I love the masjid. Spacious parking lots. Wonderful voice of imam during tarawih prayers in Ramadhan. There is also khutbah after Isya/before tarawih. The masjid also provides free takjil for breakfasting, tadarus (Quran recital after tarawih) and itikaf (prayers and worship during the last 10 days of Ramadhan). Will definitely join if I have chance.

Cons: The road to the Masjid is quite narrow so you have to be careful especially when there is a car from the other side of the road.
