spacious room, the pillows are comfortable, BUT EVERY NIGHT always been noisy, the soundproofing in the room doesn't seem to work, other ppl scream and talk like sh*t , someone runs in the corridor, bad wifi for wfh, the front desk staff (male) didn't wear face mask/face shield. totally lame. not recommended!!

Reception have a warm smile and willing to help. Price is reasonable. Your food was awesome. Nice view of Makassar city from the roof top bistro. You can find seafood restaurant arond this place. From the room, we can hear the car from the street honk day u0026 night.

Our family has stayed here four times now and I must say it has always been a pleasurable experience. Really friendly ***agers. The amenities within the accommodation met all of our needs and the bathrooms and bedrooms were a very generous size. Costa Royale offers value for money and that’s why we keep returning.

Tiny but proper rooms (superior) with really good bathroom (shower only) and balcony.
Nice view in the upper storeys. Rooms are relatively quiet.
Unfortunately the push-away windows don't closed tight.
They serve alkoholic beverages in the very nice rooftop restaurant and at the groundfloor bar. Great view from the roof terrace (tough no sun shields).
Good service and in general acceptable understanding of English. Guarded car park.

Room rates are reasonable for the type of hotel. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. The people at the hotel were very courteous and willing. Each suite is decorated very nicely. All staff, facilities ( likes restaurant in top floor ) was good for sure.

Wifi is not dependable, AC is far from cool(set it @ 17°, felt like 24°) mind you Makassar is hot when i stayed here so its bad. My room finally got cool at 5am in the morning(i turned it on since 4pm the day before). Egg booth opened late @breakfast, in fact no one stands by around till 7am. Staffs are pretty slow and not very helpful to help me as governmental staff. Only one trash can and one roll of tissue available in the room. Honestly please fix your AC, with my friend smelt something funny, the lack of cold wind didnt help at all.
