It's a historic monument to remember the 40,000 victims of Dutch soldiers during its occupation in Indonesia. People were killed by battalion under Westerling command. Ironically, this monument is only visited once a year on December 11th, the remembrance day of 40,000 victims.

Memorials of what is known as The Westerling Affair in South Sulawesi, Indonesia ca. 1945-1949. Some dark history of this country that is unexposed and untold in history books, even though it's one of the darkest in this country.

No details when the museum open. When visited no one was around. There is no information about the monument. So sad.
