First time went to makassar and straight to this place with my collegue. We are so hungry so we head right there immediately because its close to our hotel.

Order 2 Iconic Fried Chickens, 1 Cah kangkung, 1 Otak otak.

The chicken taste decent but its way too small. The cah kangkung its my fave! Its salty and has a little spicy background flavour. The otak otak is really hefty! Its thick and fishy the way i like it but its kinda have a tree sap sticky feel like texture which is kinda weird.

BUT the service was awful. The service gaves us waiter list instead menu, and menu came after we ask it. There is no price on the menu, and when we ask the waiter, she just said "you can ask the cashier", like wth!?!?! We ask another menu in the middle of eating because we want to order more but got ignored. We decided to ask for otak otak and took very long for food that jas already been prepared.

TL:DR; Back for the food, not for the service.

Very good for family dinner and business dinner. Ayam Goreng is very good, veggies also good, Sambal is good, all good.

If you're looking for fresh fish dishes well this place is not the best. People seem to love the chicken dishes more. So if you're a tourist staying around the area, better get a cab to Nelayan or Apung for seafoods. My fish was not bad but it's just not special. But if you just want a meal to fill the belly, go try the fried chickens.

We ordered the fried chicken and soup. Food was bland. I am more than certain there are better places to eat. Waiters seemed lost. No idea what the hype is about.

The best resto for lunch n dinner. Menu food is traditional fried chiken also sea food.
